Inspired by Los Kenton –Dominican merengue group from the eighties and using their cover song “Yo te seguiré (te amo)” (I will follow you), pastrana santiago developed a three-hour performance in collaboration with the performers. Singing out loud, dancing merengue in silence, and creating short readymade choreographies; the performance manifests as a sexy nostalgic clamor to the eternal love for choreography.
